What I'm worried about is that I myself deleted something after running the spyware/virus scans because after rebooting, I couldn't log in and had to copy winlogon32.exe and winlogon86.exe from the XP cd and I'm wondering if I have to do something similar for the tcp/ip issue. My tcp/ip and ipconfig are having problems (the thread isn't too long if you want to read it). I was sent over here from this post because there may be remains of some malware that is messing with my internet.
